For local birding organization, Chapel Hill Bird Club, the goal was to update their original, hand-painted logo. I drew inspiration from their mascot bird, the Brown-headed Nuthatch, and simplified the design, creating a more modern version that could be easily scaled and utilitized across a variety of platforms.
